The Paswa language (Ixúma ta-Páswa) is a language isolate spoken on its namesake, Paswa. Though from the late 19th century it has been slowly being replaced by Spanish, after the Paswa Republic gained independence revitalization efforts were made, including a new orthography and schools being taught in only Paswa (save for Spanish classes). Though steadily gaining speakers and being used more as a daily language, it still has gained a ton of Spanish influence which can be seen from its formal vocabulary.

Paswa can be best classified as fusional, with its most distinctive features being 5 noun classes
